I contacted this Sunrise Inc/ So Cal Lighting by phone and gave them a list of lighting items I needed, and told them to call me with an estimate. When they called me and told me the lights would run over $7,000, I told them I would have to call them at a later date, because I could not afford to buy these items now. The man on the phone tried to negotiate with me and said he could get me the lighting I needed for around 5,000

March 26, 2011: I have received one more phone call and two emails from different customers of SoCal Lighting aka So Cal Lighting aka Sunrise lighting, two of whom have also reported to the Department of Justice in California. I am waiting for them to get their "boiler plate" reply from the DOJ - "we are busy.....blah, blah, blah".
SoCal Lighting aka So Cal Lighting aka Sunrise lighting contiues to communicate with language as base as it might get and they flaunt their being "above the law". If you purchase from them after reading these.....you only have yourself to blame if/when things go wrong.

They will cause you nothing but grief and abuse you as you pursue remedial action. Please do file a complaint with the justice department. Though you may get a letter advising you of no action, they are compiling complaints until there are enough to justify intervention.
So Cal Lighting AKA Sunrise Lighting AKA Socal Lighting is well known by the BBB in the LA area.
Please do keep as abreast of what has/is taking place.

Both Jim Coleman and I have had them post our credit card information after we complained, see report 585599 here in ripoffreport. YOU can get my phne number and everything there as ripoffreprt would not remove it from their system, though they will remove links, etc., if I post them in here. pen light electric dot com, no spaces. PLEASE CONTACT JIM AND I. six five zero two five five zero four zero zero.
In May a credit card was taken out in my name using all private information. The card wass used to fraudulently purchase merchandise. THere is a police report with the San Bruno Calif. Police Department, Case # 100713024.
I have received three phone calls from potential customers of SoCal aka So Cal aka Sunrise, all of whom have gone elsewhere for fixtures. I post my real name and company, you may confirm. DO NOT BUY from So Cal Ligthing, aka Sunrise Lighting, aka Socal Lighting. OR if you do, never ever hope for a proper resolution.
