On December 31st 2016 I went to Soboba Casino to celebrate my birthday .I left my phone in the car because I did not want to lose it in the casino. as I was waiting for my car it took them an awful long time to bring me my car ,next you know I noticed my car was parked at the side, I finally went to them and ask them if it was my car and sure enough that was my car on the side .as I go to my car I'm waiting to get my phone cuz I wanted to see who all call me for my birthday well my phone was missing and my glove compartment was broken. I went back to make a report now I'm going to file a lawsuit for the security company and Soboba I will never return there again

Valet....

As someone who has lived in Vegas I can tell you from my own experience that you DO NOT leave ANYTHING in your vehicle that you dont want to lose. Besides sticky fingered valet drivers there is ALSO break ins. The valet drivers normally dont lock your vehicle when they park it. To THIER logic they are parking it in a secure area. So THEY dont think twice. Just because its in a valet parking area doesnt mean that its a SECURE parking area. This means break ins happen far more often then you would assume. You can TRY and sue but the REALITY is that YOU HAVE NO PROOF!!!!!

Its YOUR WORD vs. the casino!!! YOU SAY that it was in your vehicle and the casino says YOU lost it while playing and drinking. Who do YOU think a Judge is going to believe. While we can all understand your frustration at the situation, YOU have to take some responsiblity here. You dont leave a $500+ item sitting in plain view and expect it to be there when you get back!! Thats just NOT good judgment. Its a falicy based on assumption of HONESTY!!!

If YOU found a $100 bill on the ground with no one around, YOU would pick it up and consider it your lucky day. But the person who lost it wouldnt think so, but YOU wouldnt concern yourself with that. Life isnt fair. It has NEVER been fair. Its a harsh world that is a dog eat dog world. In YOUR case YOU just lost a phone. The pictures and contacts are important but NOT as important as YOUR BANKING INFORMATION!!! As long as YOU havent been paying bills on your phone you should just have to replace it and re download your contacts.

Why didn't you put your phone in your purse?

It seems very strange to me that you would go to a casino, any casino, without a purse.  And the easiest and safest thing is to put your phone in your purse. It strains credibility that anyone would leave their phone in their vacant vehicle at any time. It doesn't make sense. I think you may have to take the loss and chalk it up to being irresponsible.  You can try insurance but it will be hard to prove anything as your complaint sounds incredible. As to the valet, anyone that uses valet on a regular basis knows not to leave anything of value in the vehicle.

PS Filing a lawsuit will cost you more than getting another phone. Take responsibility for your actions.

Without evidence - lose.  This is a INDIAN casino and they are protected by Tribal Law.  You left your phone and other items in the car - so just file a claim with your insurance!
