Complaint Review: socofyshop.com

socofyshop.com Ordered wrong size phone case and need to return for refund. Socofyshop.com refuses to give us a physical return address and insists we keep phone cases that don't fit our phone.

On 19 June 2019, we placed an online order w/socofyshop.com for two (2) S9+ phone cases. Being in two different countries, the items did not arrive until July 17th. When we opened the package, we immediately realized we received cases for S9 phones. We reached out the company promptly and they alerted us to our error of ordering the wrong item.

Having prepared before reaching out to them, we reviewed the return policy on their website which clearly states, "We believe in our products so much that we offer a 30 day No-Hassle refund policy. If you're unhappy about your purchase, send us the product back and we'll refund your money immediately." Our response to them was the desire to return the cases that are TOO SMALL for our phones and acknowledged our error in ordering the wrong one. We asked for a return address as one could not be located ANYWHERE on their website...no address or phone number or people's names, just an email address for the customer service rep.

They responded with this: "Dear customer, As the return shipping charge is high and need a very long time till we received. Besides, the refund will only cover or part-cover the product price, not include the original shipping fee. We sincerely suggest if you will consider again to keep the item. As I see, the style you bought is really popular and cost-effective, maybe you can give it to a suitable friend/family as gift or transfer it to colleagues/neighbors. Which would be perfect. How do you think that? Best regards, www.socofyshop.com cs@socofyshop.com"

Needless to say, that was the first of many similar responses. We have been fussing with them for the better part of 10 days now and still have NOT been given a return address, just more of the same bilge as above. We have met every single condition and requirement of this company's return policy and even ones the CS rep made up to deter us. We deeply feel they are individuals selling stuff from their home and do not wish to deal with giving us our money back.

The total sent with shipping was almost $40. We understand we will not get the shipping back and we don't care about that piece. We want to return the cases that do not and will not ever fit our phones yet they persist in their efforts to get us to keep them. We have all original packaging and they have never been used, all we want to do is return them and get our money back.

Working with this company has been nothing but a nightmare. . . . a headache and complete hassle. They are liars and frauds. We want to keep others from experiencing the same thing. BUYER BEWARE!
