Readers, this is a variation of the 'nigerian' scam where vast profits are promised for little or no work. The next step after replyingto this eamil is for the unwitting victim to send bank account details to the fictitious company.
I live in Australia - and hence have a '.au' suffix on the end of my email address. These criminals used this to concoct a hardly believable story.
I will be replying to this person - pretending to be interested - and at the same time keeping a record of all the IP addresses in the email headers. This information is invaluable - as it gives authorities a physical location to trace the culprits to.
For example - the original sender for the email traces to:
705adelbert@surrealismo.com
The server IP address is 201.143.39.61
This traces it to somewhere in Baja California - a long way from Kiev isn't it?

SoftClub has an extensive database of clients who are located in Australia or New Zealand and we are looking again for responsible, honest and motivated people to help us in organize our representation in this region.
During last year our newly employed agents and local representatives were involved with a large number of prospective private investors and companies who are ready to take part in our business. However, the absence of SoftClub offices in AU and NZ created numerous difficulties. How it works?

The Process
1. Our customer (located in your area) informs us about his wish to buy specified products or services..
2. We supply our client with your contact details and he transfers funds directly to you (cheque sent to postal address specified by you or via bank transfer to your bank account). You inform us the moment the funds arrive.
3. We immediately give an order to ship products to the customer. In most cases this will allow us to ship client's order on the same or next business day.
4. You then transfer the client's funds to our bank account (or follow other transferring methods as will be stated in your instructions).
How much we pay
We pay you a 8% commission from the total amount of the funds transferred to you from our clients. You simply deduct the commission from the received amount. We cover all other bank fees and transfer costs.

I should ask him the obvious question that if he has so many other people operating in Australia - why don't they do the extra work he has for me? I mean - there can't be THAT much business online between Australia and the Ukraine can there??? So why go to the trpouble of enlisting little old me - and asking for all those personal details
I sent an email back to him saying I think it's a scam , how his email address is fictitious - and that the page he asks me to fill in - softclub.com.au - is not a valid.com.au address - it redirects to somewhere else - an untraceable address which probably is in Baja California again. I also say that I'll check his bona fides with authorities.
