Complaint Review: Soholaunch.com

Soholaunch is a software used to create a website. When I signed up with (((Redacted))), to host my website, simplescripts by Soho launch was offered to me on a 15 day free trial basis. At the end of the 15 days I had the option of purchasing the full license for $150.

I chose not to buy the license, and let the trial lapse. At this time I went to a reduced version of the software, which suited my needs.

Unbeknownst to me, Soholaunch then placed google (((Redacted))) on my website. This was not a problem for me, until I noticed that many of the ads offered the same service that I was selling!

I researched (((Redacted))), and found that the ads can be filtered, for just such a problem. When I contacted Soholaunch, I was told that nothing could be done, that they had to make money somehow. I agreed that this was reasonable, but please filter out the ads that are in direct competition with me. Again nothing could be done.

However, if I were to buy the software license, for the now reduced price of $75, the ads could be removed.

I feel that this is out and out blackmail. I do not hold google responsible, but feel that they are being used as much as I. This generates negative feelings toward their program, potentially causing them damage, as well as me.

Shame on Soholaunch!!
