Complaint Review: solar city / matt Delanoy

THESE BOZOS ARE A REAL CLASS ACT !!!

ok so where do i start, we were walking through the Mall one day and I saw their little cart so i stopped and spoke with Matt Delanoy about solar. He came to my home that tuesday. Ounce he was inside he did a graph of my roof etc telling me what i was going to save etc. From there oh my god what a joke. First this guy had more issues then a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs. This guy was a complete disater. He couldnt get anything done correctly had to keep contacting his 20 year old manager who by the way didnt have a clue about credit i will get to that soon. This guy Matt couldnt get anything filled out properly it took him 2 hours to do what should have taken ten minutes I had to tell this "professional" how to get the info put into his computer correctly.

After two hours of him fumbling back and forth he has us "doc u sign" the agreement. by this time is was burnt that he had even been in my house this long. When we came back from dinner after he left i kept having a wierd feeling about the whole thing. I pulled up our contract and WOW was i mad. Matt had told me that we would not have to pay for the equipment all we would do is pay for the "power their equipment generated" and at 16.5 cents per KWH. he told us about a "lease" program and I said NO way ! those lease programs are a rip off. So he said no problem we would do the other. Well guess what this contract was a lease program and for 20 years at 229.00 a month. who in their right mind will pay 54,960 for their system? the only one making money is them.

the next morning I got up contacted Matt told him i was canceling the contract which by the way they try as hard to cancel as they can but i pushed and got the correct fax numbers for the office in Vegas who does the "contracts" and the corp office in Ca. When i told Matt i was canceling he said dont do that I dont know what happened im on my way to the office now i will get you the correct contract over. WELL THIS WAS AT 8:45 IN THE MORNING At aproxat 11:46 still no new contract . His reply was Im working on it right now trying to get it over to you. Well at 1:25 pm still nothing and when i contacted him I never got another reply. I did tell him that I got a quote from a competitor Verengo, all he did was knock them and tell me how they had alot of people come over from them and they let go of alot of their employess etc . Typical sales garbage knock the other company. Well MAtt the other componies sales person wasnt at my house for two hours stumbling around he was there for only 25 minutes no problems the correct contract everything.

The lack of both professionalisum and knollege fit right into what was going on. Thes guys had NO intenstion of correcting the contract they hoped i would just not see what happened. Matts dishonesty both in giving me a contract that WAS NOT what i wanted and then telling me not to cancel he would correct it and never did, SHOWs ONLY ONE THING HE WAS OUT TO TRY TO TAKE US FOR A RIDE PERIOD !!  To get back to his "managers" knollege of credit well that was very funny to listen to. I have been in the mortgage industry for twenty years and hearing him try to explain how creedit worked etc He was so far off all i could do was laugh. THIS COMPANY IS BY FAR THE WORST OUT THERE THEIR INTENSTIONS ARE PURLEY TO DO NOTHING BUT RIP YOU OFF AND TRAP YOU INTO A CONTRACT. !!! I have filed a complaint with the Dept of comsumers and the public utilities commsion funny thing THEY BOTH KNOW OF THIS COMPANY all to well and are investigating them for fraud and misrepresntation to clients. I WOULD STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN !!  and if you get Matt Delanoy in orange county at your door I would turn him away hes very dishonest in every sense of the word.
