THIS IS A SCAM. PEOPLE ARE BEING MISLED INTO THINKING THEY ARE GOING TO A MEDICAL FACILITY, BUT THE STAFF IS NON-MEDICAL. IN ACT, KATHY HAS ONLY A HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION!

First of all learn how to spell !!!! I Kathy Tsapelis do have a degree in 2 foreign languages and have had my own private school practice in Europe in the 80's. Now as far as Dr. Benjamin being paid that is another false accusation! She is the Medical Doctor here. Soma was the original company to launch Cavi-Lipo and to write an article in a serious and well respected magazine such as the Image Magazine. Also, for your information, I am personally certified in over 7 Laser machines and have more certifications in the aesthetic field than you can imagine.
The claim of "exclusively" in the Image magazine was true for the first several months until other facilities acquired the Cavi-Lipo. We never got a chance to retract it from publishing in one issue. It is very unfortunate that the greed and jealousy in the industry and competitors can come this far!
We are a successful Company and had to change our name for trademark issues with a dermatology group that shared the name SOMA. (But that is an issue that we have with the Department of State).
I suggest you get your facts straight before slandering Companies and people! We along with another two companies are investigating this identical slander and will persue legal action.
We are a very proud group of licensed and qualified staff that service hundreds of people . Yelp reviews are also great if people research the filtered ones.

SOMA MED SPA CHARGED ME AN ABSORBANT AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR THE SAME THING, "CAVI-LIPO".
Its no wonder soma is "thriving"! They are ripp-off's! They will lie to you then steal your money!! They offered me CARE CREDIT and CARE CREDIT IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THEM!. I was told by the DA that they are probably doing it through a doctor, which is a federal crime!!! beware of soma med spa!
She swore up and down that it would work and it didn't. I should've went with my gut feeling. THEY FLAT OUT LIED and told me that they were the "ONLY, EXCLUSIVE" provider of Cavi-Lipo in New York! They Lied to me and they will lie to you. Kathy, you are an unethical "business person". You have to lie to Clients to make them feel as if you are somehow exclusive with cave-lipo, which is a lie!
You dont false advertise?? scroll up and look at the copy of your ad that the last pisses off customer posted a picture of! Are you going to lie and say that your ad doest state that it is "exclusive" to your unprofessional filthy place???

Here at SOMA Medical Spa we employ a fully trained, certified staff of professionals and all of our medical spa procedures provided that require a MD are completed by a fully accredited doctor whom we do not pay directly. We have all of our certifications clearly posted throughout our facility for our clients viewing.
We are a local business that strives to be the best and treat each of our clients as they deserve to be- with respect. We in no way are unethical and do not use false advertising to obtain new clients. We are a thriving business because we take pride in what we do and will continue to be so even with your false claims.
