Somar International Deceptive Business Practice ripoff Cornwall United Kingdom Internet
I saw an ad in a magazine for an energy saving product manufactured in the UK. I am a senior citizen and was very intereste in a product that I could demonstrate and sell. I sent in a request with all my information and naturally they approved my qualifications. I was rushed into sending a downpayment of $5,000. After, I compledted the franchize fee of another $15,000. By my mistake, I invested without further investigating the product.
On the 6th of March, 2006, I went to a meeting in Miami that the sompany, Somar) hosted, and expressed my concern about the business and asked for them to cancel my contract and return my money. After 2 months of phone calls and emails, they denied my request. I was not invited to the technical meeting held on the 7th of March, 2006.
I was not aware that I need to be technical in Electricity and have a tremendous bank roll to support this business. I expressed that to Somar many time and they refuse to heed my petition.
I feel that I was misled and deceived about this business and believe the honest thing they could do is return my money, naturally with a restocking fee or administrative charges.

I would like to share the lattest rip off from Somar International.
I was told by this company that if I deleted the Rip Off Report, they would come to an agreement with me. I was not, as you all know, able to delete this report. So, I ammended it by saying it was all a misunderstanding. That wasn't good enough for them. They backed out on their word and continue to hold out on my money. They have lied to me from the start and continue with their deceptive business practices and unethical attitude. I hired a law firm and will continue to fight this scam.
Be well aware of Somar International. They are out only for the money. I have proof from other companies that they have lied to them and their product does not hold up to standards.
BEWARE!!!!!
