I am writing this letter to let you know that Soni interiors has pulled the wool over my eyes!

I have a the invoice of what was picked up by the contractor william....dated 7-21-2012

Which is not what I purchased on 6-26-12.

I brought in measurements to get a ball rolling on 6-26-12 I was told if I ordered to much I would be credited or if not enough I would have to pay.

Soni had a contractor (William) come to my home to measure the kitchen and from those measurements the order was constructed. William the contractor told me based on the sheet of my order that Soni had sold me the wrong type cabinets...but enough to cover the square footage...I asked him to explain he said They (SONI) had sold me the right amount of cabinets but not the ones that I needed.

I said that was ok cause I would get a credit if they need to adjust...

It is like I paid for a BMW M5 but got a Ford Festiva...

I paid for a cabinets like Lazy susan but did not get them cause they would not fit...

On the original invoice I it shows the cabinets should be msrp of $2,301.30 plus tax
less the discount of $673.00

What I got on 7-21-2012 had a msrp of 1,842.94 plus tax BUT NO DISCOUNT should have been $568.95

I never received 3 buckets of glue the contractor (soni) only brought 2...they also tried to steal 1 box of flooring which I told soni about and they acted as they did not care. $99.00 plus tax

I also over paid for the installation of flooring of $120.00

I was told the installation of my cabinets was included in my package not to worry !!

It was not I paid 600.00 for it to william..I called and the owner said you told me it was included he said nope you did not pay for that it is not in writing!. I was also told the cabinets were in stock...4 weeks later they came in.

I took back a box of wood on July 23, and was given a credit of 146.00

Not sure what smoke and mirrors this company is pulling but I never got any credit for anything other than what I brought back.

I don't work for them, like I said I have been going there for years, never had any problems myself.   No need to attack me personally (not that I took it that way), I was simply offering my experience with the company, and how I feel about it.  The fact that you lowered yourself and attacked me on my comments shows that you're probably and most likely the one who has the serious issues to deal with now that I see how you handled yourself on your rebuttal.

As for any "searches" on Soni, I happened to be filing a report about a different Sanford contractor on this site in the Sanford area when I saw your report ad in the left hand column, it caught my attention, thought it might be related to the contractor in Sanford I was having a problem with.

As for the 4 clients you steered away, I refer about 10-15 people there per month, and I'm just one subcontractor out of hundreds, I doubt you'll hurt their mass business, but best of luck with that to you and yours.  Anyway, I've stated my opinion on the company, please don't attack me personally anymore as a result of my feelings as a consumer.

Shalom

WOW...well I am calling BS on your perfect experience...nice AD you did for them.

Why are you on the net looking up SONI? nothing to do?
I think you are not a customer but someone who is part of that business.
FYI
I was told by the contractor(that soni provided) and TAMMI that works there that they owed me money...
Because what I bought was not what I got.

So to answer your question
YES I expected it.

I have now turned away 4 customers from that place and I will keep doing so for as long as I live.

I have been buying materials and sending customers to Soni Interiors for years without any issues.  Just like any company, product or service, there are situations that occur unexpectedly.  I don't think it is fair to go as far as reporting them on RipOffReport.com's website, there are hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers in the Central Florida area who have got great discounts on materials from Mr. Soni and company.  If your report is entirely true and accurate, it sounds like you also have a contractor involved in the middle of everything as well.

I'm trying to offer a non-bias response to this, as I know this company and know that every time I have gone there, I get what I pay for, I select materials myself, I make sure everything is signed and paid for before I leave.  Mr. Soni has a complex system of ensuring the correct materials are signed out before they leave the building.  If anything, you have a second party involved here, not saying they're responsible, but usually when I am buying flooring, cabinets, rugs, fixtures, etc, I will oversee the selection and loading process myself, just let the contractor do the work of installation on site.

Were you present for all the purchasing, loading, and delivery of goods?  This is important.

Like I said, I have never in 5 years of dealing with this company ever had a single issue that wasn't my fault.  Mr. Soni is very direct, avid and astute when it comes to his merchandise, his work ethic and his demeanor, and I respect that.  It's usually the lackluster of others that gets in the way of that method that causes an issue.

TO date, I haven't found another supplier for flooring and rugs that has the selection and pricing that Soni does.  Your last statement says it all, you never got any credit for anything other than what you brought back.  What else were you expecting credit for?
