Complaint Review: Sonny Dean Stemple

He goes by many aliases, but his given name is Sonny Dean Stemple. Typically he goes by just Dean Stemple. He is currently living in David City NE. He is originally from Oklahoma, but has lived in several states over the years. He is in his forties, of Japanese decent, avid gambler, and wears glasses.

His scams and cons go back at least twenty years. A simple Google search will show you that in in the early days of Ebay he was suspected of scamming $30K.. up to $100K from buyers looking for baseball cards. He is banned from Ebay but it's not hard to sneak back in. I'll explain how he does that later. Further Google searches and you will find a forum site for people intersted in exotic pets like snakes and lizards, Fauna I believe. You will find that he is blacklisted within those groups for scamming people. He operated a facebook page called Strictly Exotics and claimed to buy and sell exotic pets. Most of the complaints against him are from people who ordered somthing, paid, and never received their order. Most recently, and again a simple Google search will confirm, he's operating a business called Treasure Trove II. This business specializes in antiques, furniture, and collectables. There are complaints against him with a company called UShip. Once again, he doesn't deliver on items already sold and paid for. He opened two stores in the town of Schuyler Nebraska but has not paid on the lease and the owners have locked the building up. Buyers Beware!! If you buy something from him there's a good chance it's locked up and he cannot get to it.

The worst part of it all, he's learned over the years to get others to do his dirty work. Mostly women, he wins their trust and then gets them to give him access to their bank accounts and email addresses. He then uses that information to continue stealing from unsuspecting individuals. All the while he is living off these women while they pay the bills and support him. Any money he has earned he either gambles away or buys more junk.  He has written bad checks, opened accounts in their name and then defaulted, and in short order absolutely destroyed their financial well being, credit, emotional health, and spirit.

Dean Stemple is manipulative and dangerous. He will talk a very smooth game until backed into a corner. Unfortunately it seems like just when the walls are closing in he skips town and moves on to the next mark. Shockingly no charges have ever been filed that I am aware of. I hope by posting on this site others will come forward, and maybe just maybe, something can finally be done to stop this monster.
