I was a renter at (((REDACTED))) lake worth, fl (((REDACTED))), for 4 years.  Paying over $60,000.00 in rent.  This property was sold to Shoshi Shemesh of (((REDACTED))) Way Boca RAton, FL (((REDACTED))) in December of 2018 after over 3 and a half years of my renting.  Prior to the sale there was a water heater leak, which caused enough damage that tennants below were flooded by this.  So there was a considerable mess there.which was left by the repair man, there were no leaks from the AC unit.

When i first rented this apartment From Jeremy VanDervort of Ocean Capital. there were some issues, Missing verticles. missing towel rack and light bulbs broken in the socket, it also had missing or damaged, contractor (cheap) electric plates.  I was told by Jeremey VanDorvort, that the owner was cool and not to worry.

So this year on July 9th 2019  I moved out, I gave 2 months notice and had the place cleaned as was indicated by Jeremy VanDervort. He said and this is a quote " the place looks good"  I repaired all holes from picture frames and he said all was good.

The new owner Shoshi Shemesh had with held over $500.00 of my deposit to pay for the clean up that was never completed from the leak, new elctrical plates oh bug spraying keep in mind this is FLorida so fighting bugs is a way of life and I was charged for an additional cleaning.

I was a GREAT tenant, had my rent paid by auto payment so I was never late.  I asked polightly for my full refund of my deposit and was denied.  The Shoshi Shemesh nor Jeremy Vandervort, have produced a signed checklist with my name on it stating the apartment was in perfcect shape when i moved in.  I will continue to look for a remedy any legal way I can.
