Dear Sony,

On March 15, 2008 I contacted Sony Support to address the annoying cooling fan noise issue I am having with my Sony KDL-46XBR4. After the second attempt dealing with Support they agreed to contract with a local authorized Sony repair shop to make a house call and listen to the unit.

On March 20, 2008 an authorized contract Sony technician from Santa Maria TV visited my home to evaluate my complaint and determined that the fan noise was abnormally loud.

He advised me that he would contact Sony for warranty replacement parts and return.
On March 25, 2008 Santa Maria TV advesed me that Sony refused to cover the replacement fans under the one year warranty.

In an effort to take my dispute with Sony Support further I asked for a written refusal to event E36864132 however Sony Customer Support refused and advised me to contact the Law Dept.

Since my dispute with Sony support I have lost most of my loyalty to Sony and no longer feel Sony cares or stands behind their products.

At this point I would like Sony Electronics to contact Sony Support and stand behind their warranty, cover the parts associated with the abnormally loud fan noise I am experiencing.
