In June of this year I bought a Vaio Laptop. I started the rebate process online and sent in all the required documents by mail.

I received a tracking number so as to check on the process. Towards the latter part of July there was no confirmation of them receiving my documents so I emailed them and they said they never received them.

I was told to resubmit copies of the docs I sent, which I did. I allowed sufficient time for the mail delivery and they still didn't have the online tracking indicate that they received them, I called and spoke to a person who checked on the progress of my claim, I was then informed to resend my proof of the purchase.

I asked how long the check would be good for if uncashed and was told 3 months. At that point I gave up on getting my $50 as I would be out of the country for 6 months starting in Sept. and wouldn't be able to cash it.

During the process of doing my claim I noticed there is 3 addresses listed for sending the rebate forms, one is in Detroit,MI another in Mesa AZ and a third to Young America but I misplaced the address.
I'll never ever buy another a Sony product.
