Complaint Review: Sony

Sony is no longer a reputable company. Apparently does not care about consumer. Internet

I purchased a Sony DVD player which I usede one time. After several frustrating calls with Sony I gave up. I was told to send it at my cost to Laredo, Texas for repair or replacement, by a refurbished product. Should have caught on then.

I now have a five year old 36" sony Trinitron TV that all of a sudden when you turn it on it cuts right back off. I have been on the chat room twice with Sony.The last time they advised there was nothing they could do. I need to contact a service repair place.

I went on line and typed in "repair of Sony Trinitron" and wow, numerous, numerous sites came up with complaints about this TV. Which Sony failed to tell me they had a problem. Go figure!!

Anyway I guess I am stuck with an expensive TV that does not work. I cannot afford repairs nor a new one. My husband is homebound and the TV is his lifeline during the day. We purchased this TV in good faith from Best Buy thinking it will last us til the Lord calls us home. Boy was I wrong, again.

I have now purchased two sony products. But no more. Why can they not care about their consumers.

What happened to the good old days when people cared.

Never will I purchase a Sony product and will make sure I let anyone who is thinking about know they do not stand behind their products.

I pray they reap what they sow.
