Sony Mail in rebate is indeed a ripoff fraud business West Caldwell New Jersey
I bought a Sony camcorder and found that there was a rebate offer. After spending over $2300 on the camera, $100 back would be very nice. I enclosed all the necessary materials, UPC code, printed rebate form, receipt - and have a return receipt from the USPS confirming delivery, as I sent it certified mail.
No one at Sony cares that the materials were received and sent me no acceptance nor rejection notification for the rebate. I cannot get anyone on the phone at Sony with an education level higher than preschool, and certainly no one who plans to help me figure this out.
I fully intend to issue a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
