SOE software is a fantastic way to completely waste $30.00.

While Star Wars Galaxies looks pretty, you have no recourse to solve issues with the company. Sure, you can call their customer support line during business hours - and be told they are not open. You can also use their ultra-spiffy online customer service, and talk to a moron who couldn't care less about your problems.
Not only did the customer service representative not understand a problem as simple as "I set up my account, got my e-mail confirmation of the account activation, but I can't login", he had no ability at all to organize multiple chats, or any understanding of chatroom etiquette. So half the time I would try something and I'd get a "sorry, that was not meant for you".
Then, in the middle of the conversation, when it became blatantly clear that he was to incompetent to help, he simply ended with "Is there anything else I can help you with today?"

I replied that my problem was not solved, at which point he simply said "You have to create a new account".
So I left the chat, and came back hoping to get a different person. No such luck. At this point, he simply kept cutting and pasting the same question into the chat window repeatedly.

And, typical of so many apathetic ripoff companies, SOE proudly displays the BBB logo on their main site. If I'd seen that first, I'd have not bought the game in the first place.
