Soulas Hearing Aid Center RIPOFF Hearing Center - RUN from this Business!!!! Bangor Maine
My mother has been going to Soulas Hearing Aid Center for years and unfortunately gained the trust of Wanda Creed. We have been trying to get our mother to go somewhere else because she has never been happy with her hearing aids - they hurt her ears and she was still unable to hear. We just recently found out that Wanda has NEVER even tested her hearing - after over 10 years of service!!!!! What a disgrace!!!! Just think of all of the conversations with family that my mother has missed out on over the years and the discomfort she has suffered with because of Wanda's disregard for her as a person and for her hearing loss.
Finally, we took my mother to another hearing aid center and they were AMAZED that she has not had her hearing tested in years. They were also amazed at the amount of wax buildup she had in her ears (Wanda never checked that either). They also said the molds Wanda gave her for her aids didn't even fit her ears which is the reason her ears are always sore and irritated.
Anyone that sells hearing aids, should be required to test a persons hearing periodically. How can you adjust hearing aids, if you don't even know the extent of hearing loss? You can't - that's why my mother has not been able to hear for so many years.
Now she finally has had a hearing test, has molds that fit and are soft and hypoallergenic, and can HEAR!!!! Imagine that - she can hear!!!!!
Wanda should be ashamed to be selling hearing aids (which cost thousands of dollars each) without even caring about the results for her clients - many of whom are elderly and too trusting.
Shame, shame, shame.
DO NOT GO TO SOULAS HEARING AID CENTER!!!!

It is my understand that this company has fairly recently purchased an enclosed hearing booth which in my opinion should allow the company to greatly improve their services to their customers.
I hope you have continued success with building lasting relationships with your clients.

This is in rebuttal to the complaint from Lynn S**** mother of S S****. I have been more than attentive to your mother over the past 10 years. I have documenttaion that I have given Sondra many hearing tests and the last time I saw her was July of last year when she picked up her new earmolds, I have not seen her since. Her earmolds were under warranty for a year so if she had any issues with them all she had to do is stop by, Your mother and I have had a wonderful relationship over the years and for you to make this complaint is not justified. I have gone up and beyond my duties as her hearing aid specialist. I have given her loaners when her hearing aid needed repair at no charge I have sent hearing aids to florida while she was on vacation also at no charge. I have repaired tubings and cleaned her hearing aids over the years also at not charge. I am sorry that you feel I was not attentive enough to your mom but YOur complaint is not justified.
