I purchased a townhouse from Soundbuilt Northwest, aka Soundbuilt Homes aka Canyon Trails, LLC back in September of 2008.  With the economic downturn only 14 of the 45 units were sold, the rest were turned into rentals.  Within a short period of time after the renters moved in next door I came to the realization that there was something wrong with the workmanship of the home due to me hearing all that went on in that adjacent unit.  I brought this up to Soundbuilt and was treated poorly and was not assisted in determining the problem nor did they take ownership of their product and rectify.

In August of 2012 an Arbitrator ruled in my favor in which I won not only the amount to fix the problem but attorney and filing fees.

When Soundbuilt neglected to settle up via payment, I brought the ruling to Judgment with the Superior Court of Washington, and again was awarded the attorney and filing fees as well as interest.

THEY STILL REFUSE TO PAY!

Soundbuilt is currently building a home for charity, entertaining their peers and the 2nd in command is the 2013 Master Builders Association President of Pierce County Washington but refuse to follow the morals, ethics and scruples of the organization?

That American homes should be well-designed and well constructed.
That your paramount responsibility is to your customers
That the home purchaser may get the greatest value possible for every dollar
And that as a member you assume these responsibilities freely and solemnly, mindful that they are part of your obligation.

There are many Home Builders that DO stand behind their product and DO have their customer's in mind.  For your sanity, please stay clear of Soundbuilt!

My February 10, 2013 posting above was made in haste.  I would remove it from this site but the site terms do not allow me to.  Instead I retract all previous statements made against this company, absolve their involvement in the matter and apologize for any negative impact my comments may cause them.

I encourage anyone who is evaluating whether or not to do business with the company to contact the company directly as the company will provide my written statement fully retracting the allegations I have made here.

I want to correct the information I posted earlier this
year.  I have a judgment against Canyon
Trails, LLC.  This judgment is not

against Soundbuilt Northwest or Soundbuilt Homes.
