South Beach Coffee Troyal Inc SCAM Miami, Florida
The SCAM starts with an add in the local paper for a coffee route for sale. The number listed is a Miami 866 number which belongs to South Beach Coffee.
After several conversations with Michael Hutton, he pushes you to look at the option of a new route in your area vs. purchasing an existing route. They claim to have distributors in over 34 states averaging selling 4-5 bags of thier coffee per day.
To help sell the new route, he gave several references which included a "distributor" in NY, TX and DC. All have a very good story to support the SCAM and with great detail they all have a success story.
Once you have the product, they push you to engage a "locator" company to establish the route. For a separete fee per location, A-1 Locators AKA Stan Lewis sends out a local rep to help locate your new sites. Half of the ones they found were in areas which required a police escort or stores which ened up NEVER able to sell one bag of coffee.
After having several conversation with Michael and a dedicated customer rep named Elizabeth Anderson about why sales were so slow, a call to South Beach Coffee rolled to the answering service. After early Oct , no more e-mails were answered and calls to the "distributors" revealed bad numbers.
In addition, calls to Stan Lewis with A-1 Locators were not returned. For over two months I spoke with 10 different individuals all taking part of this SCAM. Michael Hutton, Elizabeth Anderson and Stan Lewis need to be sent prision for LIFE.

You should file a similar complaint about Stan Lewis with A1 Locators separately. Just search for him on this site. He already has a journal of complaints about how he conducts himself, and his business. I too had a similar experience with South Beach and then with good ol' Stanley.
