I needed to lose an additional 10-15 pounds (as did my wife) and we decided to each try a different program. She registered with Nutrisystems and I with South Beach diet. My box arrived with about 3x the number of 'protein bars'. These are basically candy with sugar substitutes and high protein. The frozen selections looked like dog food when microwaved. Yes, adding fresh veggies helped, but the products overall looked nothing like the photos online.

Here's the part that tells me they expect you to not want to proceed; deceptive website. What they don't tell you is that the 'discount' they give you is not for ordering, it's for auto-renewal. It is NOT made clear and when you call they talk over you and tell you you have to pay the $180 'discount' back. I can well afford this, but won't pay because it's clearly deceptive.

PAY WITH AMEX. IF YOU ARE A GOOD CUSTOMER AND DON'T CONTEST CHARGES AS A MATTER OF COURSE, THEY BLOCK THESE JOKERS FROM RE-CHARGING YOU. Bad. Company with bad policies, so avoid South Beach Diet at all costs.
