I am a young seasoned traveler and have never experienced such poor service from a company. I have been to foreign countries and stayed in places with minimal ammenities, and still have never experienced the level of unprofessionalism I did with this company. Please read this rip off report and save your money!

I found a one bedroom condo on VRBO at a  great price of $255.00 a night and an option to hold the reservation with a half payment deposit. I spoke with Gabby Marques who represents Cory Fritzler and handles all the negotiations for dates of travel and collection of funds. She locked in the deposit via credit card and scheduled our stay on one of the busiest weekends in SOBE.

On March 4th, 2014 just 3 weeks away from our trip I received an email stating the reservation had to be canceled due to the owner losing his apartment. The email proceeded to inform me that another condo was available but the check in date would be a day later and the length of stay would be the same. At this point we were unable to make arrangements with the airline to change the dates around. We kept the reservation and booked a one night stay at a hotel on the beach. Gabby would not discount the last day of the resrvation becuase according to her this property was more money a night and the minimum stay was 4 days. We kept the reservation anyway and let her know we would be checking out a day early. We had no choice as there was no availability for hotels in the area with only three weeks out within the same price range.

When it was time to check in, we arrived at the Mercury Hotel on 100 Collins Ave. Unit #203. Gabby instructed us to go inside as the cleaning crew had just finished. We walked in the condo to find the maid still cleaning the unit with linens completely off the bed. I asked the maid when she would be done and she stated she needed 45 minutes. We left and returned 45-50 mins later. At this point there were still no linens on the bed and no towels. We waited until 4:25 to have the bed made. The unit had one half used roll of toilet paper, no ammenities usually provided in hotels. No soap, no shower cap, no shampoo, no conditioner and a total of three towels, no paper towels or napkins, nothing! We were lucky to find a market down the street and bought our own essentials. Gabby did not check in with us, and until this day I have no idea who she is. She left one key for four people to share. The place was more of a hostel with a private bathroom than a luxury condo as advertised on VRBO and AIRBNB.

We left a few items behind at check out, including a pair of expensive Brian Atwood heels, and when we inquired with Gabby to follow up, she never did. This place and company is a complete rip off, do not waste your time or money to save a few bucks. The no toilet paper issue is absurd and an insult to injury. I give them a 1/2 a star for their service and will never rent a condo in SOBE again.

In the world of property management things sometimes go wrong as is the case with any business.  In this particular case, we had an owner/landlord who decided to sell his units to another developer and broke his contractual agreement with our company. This forced us into a scramble with our reservations in this building.  We were a little shocked to find this all out as it was never even listed for sale.  This reservation along with several others were affected.  The new buyer was not interested in keeping any of the bookings we had.  Our hands were tied and we explained everything to the upcoming renters.  Most all of them understood and were appreciative of our help to find them other accommodations.  Some opted for a full refund and found a replacement on their own.  Lilly Garzona from Los Angeles CA and her party however chose not to accept the full refund, asked that we find her another rental and wanted us to refund her 50% of her stay due to the inconvenience.

We were able to find her a unit in another building.  It was more expensive so we had to come out of pocket for the extra money.  Keep in mind, this is a property that we do NOT manage.  We are not in charge of the cleaning crew and we were not directly involved in the toiletries provided in the units.  There was a 24 hour front desk in the lobby of the building they stayed in as it was run very much like a hotel.  Anyone could get complimentary soaps, toilet paper and etc at the front desk if needed.  We got a call several days after she checked out demanding we mail her 1 shoe that she apparently left behind.  During the conversation she never mentioned anything (good or bad) about her stay. It was only after we told her the next day that the shoe was never found when she blew up and said someone must have stolen her 1 shoe, demanding we find it, cursing at us on the phone then hanging up.  We feel this "missing shoe" incident is what angered Lilly to even post this on Ripoff Report.

We wish that we would have just refunded the client and let her find other accommodations instead of trying to play the middle man for a reservation that Lilly Garzona just wasn't happy with.  As I said earlier we never even heard from Lilly during her entire stay.  No phone call, no text message, and no email.   If she hadn't lost her shoe, I don't believe we ever would have heard from her.

We manage many units in both Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale.  We handle hundreds of reservations every year and have placed thousands of reservations since we started our company 8 years ago.  We have worked with many wonderful people from around the globe who have rented from us.  Many come back year after year.  Some have even become good friends.  Unfortunately, those that enjoy their stay rarely post anything (good or bad) on the internet.  Its the very few like Lilly Garzona that feel they need to take measures to extremes because their vacation didn't go as planned or in this case, angry because she lost a shoe.

It seems as though posting bad reviews online against companies and individuals is a common practice for Lilly Garzona based upon our last google search.  Any individual or company considering doing business with or employing Lilly Garzona from Van Eyes, CA should beware and hope that everything goes perfect or you too may find yourself being bashed on the internet.
