We have had a time share with South Beach Resort for a few years. While staying in May we were informed they were being bought out by Orange Lake Capital Management. We were told if we bought with the new owners before the take over we could get this amazing deal.

What we needed to do to get this deal was buy a new time share with them and a few weeks before the actual take over they would combine the two time shares into one. By doing this we would double our points for only a few dollars more a month. They said they would use my equity in the original time share along with the new time share deal and do what they called a "Wrap Around". We would go from two one bedroom condos to a two bedroom condo for a fraction of the price. They even made to where my first payment on second timeshare would not be due until after the "wrap around" was going to be complete so I wouldn't have to worry about making two payments. I would just have the final combined timeshare payment due in July.

Orange Lakes would contact me by phone and through mail in June to finish the deal. When June when I didn't hear from them I called our salesman. He told me not to worry everything was fine it was just taking a little longer to get all the paperwork finalized with the new company and he would call me in a few days. I did not hear from him so I called him and again he gave me the same story. I then told him I wanted to talk to the salesman's supervisor that was the one who talked with us explainin how it would work when we were there in May. He said he would have her call me the next day. I never received a call. I tried calling him back many more times and he will not take my calls. I then contacted Ocean Lakes directly and asked them when the wrap around would be done. They said that what I explained to them was not possible. And I would have to pay for both timeshares and if I didn't they would come after me by garnishing my wages. After talking with many supervisors at Orange Lakes I was told I must have misunderstood what the salesman told me and there was nothing I could do because I have no one to back up my story. Now they won't return any of my calls.

If there is anyone out there who has been ripped off by orange lakes I would love to hear about it so we can go after them!

In 2009 me and my husband bought another timeshare because we were told the same thing.  We already had one and if we bought another we could combine the two together and only have one payment.  Well they lied I can't get them to call me back either.  What are we to do about this? We couldn't afford two, we were doing fine with the one we had.  They are liars and yes they call 24/7 365 days which is crazy.  If you want to talk about this you can email me at prisnshayne2001@yahoo.com.  Anyone else having the same problem?

Hi,

We have a very similar issue, if you would like to email us and share information maybe together we can come up with a solution to fix this situation. If not maybe we can find others that are having a similar problem and come up with a class action suit against the institution.

Thanks
