In 2007 we were contacted by a sales representative from the Southbeach Resort located in Myrtle Beach.  the salesman stated that "they had bought the last available piece of oceanfront property in Myrtle Beach and they were offering current owners the first chance to upgrade and purchase an ocean front unit".  We upgraded our unit from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom at that time.

We have since found out that there is not such a building being built nor will there ever be and also the unit listed on our paperwork was in fact just another 2 bedroom unit.

The property has been sold several times in the past few years and is currently owned by Orange Lake Capital Management.  In our last statement for maintenance fees there was a charge for a 2010 Reserve Assesment.  This fee is not listed in any of our documentation and appears to be a method of generating cashflow for their company.

We were also contacted by a company called Timesharelegalcounsel concerning other fraud issues with this company and were told of an impending class-action lawsuit.  The current status of this is unknown at this time.

This company is used fraud to entice us to upgrade our unit.  We wish to have the contract voided without damage to our credit and a refund of paid amounts.
