Complaint Review: South Carolina Electric And Gas SCANA

People that are served by this utility- You need to have your account audited or go online to sceg.com and look at your Billing and Payments page. These people have a computer glitch that they are unwilling to fix and therefore they are extorting money through threats of disconnection on balances of o.oo because the computer says so. I have spoken with 2 Customer service reps, 1 SCANA Corporate security person, and a local office manager. When shown in black and white the faulty balance forward glitch, they still try to make excuses to keep your money(400.00) and they are trying to extort another 337.01 as of Feb 19, 2009. I have followed the change of command accordingly and they are continuing to violate their own values that are this:

The SCANA values are important to us. We live and work by them everyday.

We:

* Serve our community.
* Achieve.
* Communicate openly and honestly.
* Respect diversity and care for each other.
* Excel in customer service and safety.
* Most importantly, we Do what is right

They are not serving their community by ripping off their customers
They are not achieving with denial.
Their communication means their communication in favor of them only.
Their is no RESPECT.
Their Customer Service should be compared to 1st graders.
They refuse to do what is right.

I will personally find everyone affected by this glitch and go to the highest court if needed for principle's sake alone. When you are at fault admit it, but DO NOT try to sweep it away with illogical talk and Musical Chairs.
