My niece and her husband were involved in an accident on their Harley Davidson motorcycles near Coos Bay.  South Coast Auto Group (Dale Capps) was sent to tow my niece's Harley, by request, to Hwy 101 Harley in Coos Bay, while my niece and her husband went to the hospital.

South Coast Auto Group (Dale and Tina Capps) took the motorcycle to their own place of business, then refused to release it without cash payment ($500) and would not accept credit cards.  My niece and husband have full coverage insurance to cover tows.  This coverage states the vehicle must be towed to the "nearest business where repairs can be made"... if another location is requested, the insured will pay the difference in the tow.  All well and good.  WHY was the motorcycle NOT towed to the shop requested??  And WHO carries $500 cash with them on a day trip??

This is outrageous behavior on the part of Dale and Tina Capps.  Is this a ploy to collect MORE in daily storage fees??  It is obviously a way to collect some "extra money" from visitors to the area.

Shame on you Dale and Tina Capps.  RIPOFF!
