Complaint Review: South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery

i dont know where to begin with this offices level of unprofessionalism. First, i set up a consultation with Dr. Timothy Alexander for a 2nd breast augmentation where i would be swapping  my 440 cc saline implants for 800 cc moderate plus silicon implants which he said he could do no problem. The same day i consulted with a woman at the office for laser tattoo removal. i was quoted 4401000 for my lower back tattoo and 900 for my arm tattooI set up surgery date for my BA, booked my flight & hotel for 10 days in Nov. They scheduled the date, but said they would tell me what time the DAY BEFORE, which made no sense to me, but i went along with it. The day before my surgery they called me to say that their implant company doesnt make 800cc's in moderate profile. How did they NOT know this before? They said Allergan makes 752cc's moderate profile, and 800 cc's high profile, but if i want the 800 cc's high profile, they have to order them Since i was already in town and i couldnt get a refund on my flight or hotel i decided to go for the 752 Surgery went ok. i relaxed for the rest of the week in my hotel and a week after surgery i flew back to NY. With the purchase of my breast implants, there was a special for $500 free botox for me & a friend. There was also a bunch of New Years specials that were emailed which interested me. 1 was for tattoo removal. buy 1 area, get 1 of equal or lesser value free. i jumped on the opportunity since that would mean i could do both my tattoos for $1000. The woman i spoke to said thats fine. i schedule my botox date and she says just to remind her about the tattoo removal when i arrive.A couple of weeks pass and my right breast becomes filled with fluid. I called Dr. A's office and was told it sounded like a capsule and to continue massaging but i knew it wasnt. It became painful enought to wind me up in the ER where i was told it would have to be extracted. A sonogram confirmed it was a seroma, not a CC. Icalled Dr A's office again and told them what the ER dr's suggested.  They scheduled me for an immediate appointment and i was prescribed antibiotics & steroids.Back to Fort Lauderdale again, Dr. A says he won't drain the seroma and that there is a possibility my implant may have to come out. i bring to his attention that the breast pockets dont meet at my ribcage. He says the breast just needs to drop but even while massaging the right breast downward it will not meet with the left breast because the pocket was opened up lower on the left. He refuses to take any responsibility for his mistake but shcedules me for another appointment 2 days after seeing him i came back for botox. i spoke with the woman about the tattoo removal, we were in agreement on the special price and i decided to pay for my package then so but when she ran my card the charge was for 1900. I handed the reciept back without signing it and she said the woman who handles refunds left for the day so $900 would be refunded to me the next day. The next day i got a series of phone calls from them looking for every reason to charge me full price, 1st the offer expired new years when i had set it up before, 2nd that my consult was done in advance which didnt make any sense, and then 3rd that i was told 1900 was a special price for me being a regular. I aks her to just refund me the total because i cant afford it then and she says she will hand the paperwork over to the other woman who deals with the refunds but theres a possibility they will charge me a cancellation fee.... are u kidding me???? After waiting for a callback then finally i phone them to find out whats going on & i get a machine saying that the office is closed! They left my account with $188 for the whole weekend knowing im not from here and in order to budget im forced now to sleep on the beach until Monday where im sure they will hassle me some more about trying to get my money back. I will never deal with these people again!
