6 weeks later, my washer has been to their shop twice. It was broken and came back broken. They didnt test it to see if the new transmission worked berfore they sent it back to me. I cant get them to answer the phone. It stays busy for an hour at a time. When they do answer, on hold for 10 minutes is common. Call backs are non existant.

I paid the labor and the parts were under warranty. It cost me $290 for the labor. A new washer would have been in the 300 range.

they took the thing back a week ago and no calls yet. I cant get bobby, the shop owner to call me back. My hunch is he doesnt get the message from the receptionist or lou.

6 weeks later, 25 phone calls with only one return call. 20 of the calls were busy signals and at least 5 messages.

yes it is a tough business when your customers wont refer them to a friend.

Repair old washer for $290. Get new washer with FULL warranty for "$300 range". TWO SECONDS ....NEW WASHER. Here in San Antonio, many of those used washer places will come pick up your old washer for free. Then they turn around repair them, kind of and sell them. Have gotten rid of a couple of washers and dryers that way.
