Complaint Review: Southeastern Roofing & Restoration Inc.

It doesn't surprise me a bit to find another unhappy and angry customer who is out of insurance claim money.  My story is very similar to the person in Lawrenceville, GA.

They came into my neighborhood around the end of the year offering a Free Inspection.  Someone contacted me and came out and saw some hail damage to the back of my roof.  My whole front of the roof was replaced about 1 yr ago due to a storm.  We thought maybe we could get the other half replaced. 

We had our insurance claims adjuster come out to meet them and knew them from other jobs.  We got approved and handed our check.  This was 3/17/10.  We paid them our deductable as well...$500.00.  Was told we would get this done by 4/2010 since this would be 1 yr since the storm.

I was contacted by a Mike from the company who told me they would schedule us for July.  I laughed and thought for sure he was joking!  He told me the same thing about the weather and how this put them behind.  This was only half a roof on a ranch home!

My husband called our Sales Rep.,Todd and told him of this.  He was surprised to hear this and he told my husband that he no longer worked for that company and started his own company.  That was a sign right there for us!  We left messages etc.  Todd said he left messages for the owner as well with no call back. I filed a complaint with BBB and we went to small claims court and got the owner served on May 25th.

We just want our money back to find a honest and reliable company to replace our roof.
