Complaint Review: Southern Bridal Registry

Thank you Lindsay in Cabot and the lady in Louisiana and google! Because of your reports, I will save myself time and money. I too received the phone call from a kind lady saying I had been entered by a friend or family member for a free honeymoon and my fiance and I had been selected for it. I got so excited!
According to her message, all I had to do was call back and claim it. By claim.....I found out she meant get a claim number, meet someone at a hotel in my area, and listen to a cooking presentation. THEN, I would be told the stipulations of my prize. It's true: If it sounds too good to be true, it is. I am just angry they wasted my time and money luring me in with advertising a free prize that I now know is NOT free. Don't get taken by them! Your first tip off should be that they call you from an 800 number.
I too have only been to David's Bridal so far, so I know who gave my name out. Brides have enough to deal with.
