Complaint Review: Southern Refrigerated Transport

southern is the biggest rip off i know. when u go to orintation they make u sign a perdiem plan that charges u 3cpm back to the company for their pocket . think about that 3000 miles a week at 3cpm thats 90 dollars ur paying back to the company to drive their equipment. Can u say EXTORTION!

They also charge u for log pages hazmat book dot book and all supplies they give they charge u for.

i dint have any cash one day and hadnt eatin in 16 or 17 hrs tried to leave the terminal and they woulndt let me leave to get sumthing to eat i just wanted to go down the road and cash a comchek to get money.

So i went to dispatch and asked if anyone could help get it cashed, no response so after 20-30 mins of being ignored i banged ont he wall with my fist to get someones attention. A guy stud up and said can i help u, i said yes told him my problem and told me to call the person working who was covering my fleet mngrs fleet that weekend.I call him he cant help so i said i guess im suppose to stay here and starve and he kept telling it wasnt his problem. SO i told him i was goping to call the cops and tell them they were holding me there against my will .That got their attenion! his name was(stan jhonson).

So they calle(joe self) operations manager i spoke with joe and he told me that the shuttle van could take me to cash my check. I asked joe why it took for them to call him on his cell phone at his house on a sunday and i had to curse to dispatchers out and bang on the wall and threaten to call the cops to get help . HE told me he didnt know. So come monday morning they fired me put me on greyhound and i had to kennel my dog and leave her behind in texarkana ar, i live in georgia. and i to leave behind my refrigerator and microwave in wich they would not ship to me and threw in the garbage! today is wednesday im writng this no money cause i had to buy my bus ticket and ship with me what i could and my dog is still in the kennel 850 miles from home not noing if i will ever get her back cause they wont pay what is owed to me so i can go get my dog! i feel sorry for anyone who works for them and who ever want to go to work for them any questions about this company feel free to call me my name is brian my # is xxxxxxxxxx
