Complaint Review: Southold Appliance

I called a repair man to fix my dishwasher. My son-in-law had already figured out that the problem was with the control panel. So when the repair tech. arrived, I told him what I thought was wrong and it took him 2 mins. to agree and say "it's the control panel.
He asks for a deposit of $100. The service call is an additional $79. He says that's average for a service.

A week later he comes back. My control panel is under wanenty. Great , but he charges me $150. in labor. I say you have got to be kinding. It ended up costing me a total $250. I could have bought a new dishwasher for the same money . Thank god I didn't have to pay for parts which were under warranty. He was here maybe 20 mins. at most. I'm sorry, I think that was a rip off.
