Complaint Review: Southtrust Bank

i have banked with southtrust for many years i have my check direct deposit every week this my families only income and every week they eat my check in isf charges for example i was charged 11 isf fees for 10 transactions this is a every week thing so i go to my branch to talk to mellisa at the grassland location and she is rude and will help now the next thing is about 2 years ago i was useing my atm card at the outside atm at this branch and the machine ate my card so i went in right then to tell them i was told they would cancel this card and issue a new one they did not do this the next thing transactions was being processed and money deducted out of my account on the card they said was canceled i disputed these charges and was told they they would only go back 60 days from the time i deputed but i had been disputing these charges all along so we had to close this account and open a new one and we got our new cards the were for the old account now mellisa claimed the card had been cancelled but when i contacted the atlanta office i was told the card was not cancelled we were out thousands of dollars and when i complained about it i was told i needed to read my contract i had sign so i did just that and it did not state anything that they could give our money away but it does not end there when we opened the new account we needed to transfer our overdraft we filled 7 sets of forms to do this did it get transfered no way when we sent the last sent mellisa said she did not get them less than 24 hours later she calls me and tells me that when she tried to transfer this it had been charged off i asked why she said that not only that she guessed our paperwork was lost on her desk the overdraft was charged off the day before she had these papers for about a week and a half so not only are we out thousands of dollars because of the card but i will have a bad mark on my credit report
