Complaint Review: southwell auto group

I previously bought a car from the dealer at the time was called rainworth auto center. when i first viewed the car there was a few faults which i pointed out to the sales person and was told if i put a deposit on the vehicle it would be taken in and all faults would be sorted.

i payed the deposit and was told the car would be ready in 4 days to collect.  after 4 days i contacted the dealer to see if the car was ready to collect as i had heard nothing from them they said they think so and would call me back.

they never called back and this went on for another week being given different excuses and basically lies. being as i lived an hour away it was getting frustrating as i was finishing work early to collect the car. eventually they informed me the car was ready to collect so scheduled my insurance to change over that day.

i arrived to collect the car asked if everything was done yes yes they said signed all paperwork exchanged documents ect went out to the car glovebox still broken. sunroof still broken mucky finger prints on interior and cigarette ash in the ash tray i asked them whats going on they said parts were on order and to bring the car back when they came. to be honest by this time i have had enough i took the car and guess what the parts still hav'nt arrived 4 months later.

i realise i could have left the car with them and refused to take it but i feel that would have been more hassle with insurance being changed over and them having my money for the car.

they have now decided to change there name to southwell motor group i can only assume this is to get away repairing faulty cars which they have sold previously as rainworth.

please take my advise avoid these people there are plenty of good quality dealers out there you dont need to waste your time with these
