I flew from Phoenix to LAX on Jan 6 on Southworst Air but god only knows where my bag went; waited @ LAX bag carousel 1hr 10 min (only had 2hrs between arrival on SWA and departure for Asia); no security in LAX, no SWA staff on site, not even a sign on the wall telling customers where to call to find bag or report. Continued trip, tried to call so-called customer service 800# 7 times, got put on hold 6 times, given wrong # 7th time!!! Tried to call 310 area code number (LAX area) but it went to vm 2x, ran out of time, had to catch plane to Taiwan.  Tried to call from Asia, no luck; tried to email but kept getting "we'll get back to you in 30days" response.  Even bought new phone in Thailand w/int'l calling minutes, talked to Michelle clark, but got cut off after 10min.  After several weeks got email that said southworst has, without my permission and without notifying me ahead of time, moved my bag (from wherever it was) to Dallas, Texas! [I feel this is grand theft].

Now southworst is refusing to simply put the bag on a plane @ DFW airport (which is where their baggage center is) and send it back to Phoenix, where I could pick it up.  They are demanding that I pay to have it shipped via FedEx!!!  They claim I was supposed to IMMEDIATELY file an "incident" report even tho there were no southworst employees present at the baggage area.  The bozos I tried to talk sense to @ the baggage center claimed that there are always baggage people at LAX, which is not true and which the dimwits in Dallass had no way of proving (they sure as hell werent in LAX when I was).

Watch out for these ripoffs jacka****.  Once they have your money, they don't care what happens to you or your bags.

I finally got my bag back, 45days later, and guess what?  The bad has been DESTROYED!  The handle was completely ripped out, the wheel carriages are broken, the lock was gone (NOT TSA, they have universal keys), and the zipper tangs were all torn off!  Either this was why the bag disappeared or the Baggage Center Service staff did this intentionally to punish me for complaining.  I sent a complaint to Gary Kelly CEO, so another chapter of this ludicrous saga will possibly occur, but I have no hope I will be reimbursed or get a written apology.
