Upon leaving Lowe's for an afternoon of house supply shopping, my fiance and I were getting into our truck to head home and overheard 2 guys in a van ask another Lowe's patron if they were interested in purchasing a high end set of surround sound speakers. When the gentleman said "no," we of course became their next sales target.

Always keeping an open mind, I thought "Sure, let's see what they are peddling." They proceeded to describe the same story I have read throughout this fraud report website. The warehouse "accidentally" gave them double their requested inventory, and they had to hurry up and sell them before catching up with their boss for the afternoon. The whole situation seemed a little shady, but we kept an open mind. We love to believe we're lucky enough to have such situations happen to us.

Now, the interesting part of the story is that the boxes were sealed with what seems to be "official Dogg Digital" packing tape. I have even opened up one of the boxes and located the warranty card for the real Dogg Digital office in Newport Beach, CA. We're not even certain yet if these are "knock-off" speakers. But after reviewing all of the info and similar situations in this website, it's seems fairly obvious that we have just become the newest victims to this Dogg Digital knock-off scheme.
