Southwest Business Brokers Southwest Investors Offer to rent timeshare then begin asking for money Oklahoma City Oklahoma
I was contacted by phone by a person names Axel Forlan regarding renging my timeshare out--when we had agreed on the number of weeks and the amount of money I would get, sent me a contract to sign-had their "legal department" contact me to go over contract, then advised that I would be dealing with their broker in New Jersey who would be sending me info on whre money ould be coming from, etc.
When I got this, and signed and returned, they then came back and said that I had to pay my Maintenance fee upfront, but would be reimbursed for it. I did this, then was sent a new contract saying I had to pay taxes on money that I would earn from my rental and ask for more money to be sent. When I questioned this, they again assured me that I would be reimbursed for this and sent me a new 'contract' showing this amount, etc. When I refused to do this, they they said that they would sue me if I didn't send money etc. et. I then went to BBB of Oklahoma City and found that there were others that had had the same experience.
