Complaint Review: Southwest/Go To Engines

Southwest/Go To Engines Purchased Engine and had it installed by a certified mechanic. Called to activate the warranty. Said they would send a new engine, but not cover the labor to reinstall it, because the "warranty was not activated" after the engine was installed. The car has never left the shop, because it smokes too much- not (1) mile has been added to the odometer. Tried to reason with the warranty rep "Scott" to no avail. Do not understand from a reasonable business standpoint why they do will not honor the labor cost of installing the engine. Internet

This business is a "scam" that does not honor their warranty coverage.  Purchased and had a certified mechanic install the engine.  Upon starting the engine, it ran, but very noisy and smoked.  They will be sending a new engine, but will not cover the labor NO MATTER WHAT.   Said that warranty needed to be activated???? I said okay, let's activate the warranty--  said it was too late, because the engine had already been installed.  The car has never left the shop....  same miles on odometer as reported.  See no reason how they can deny covering labor cost for install??????  Warranty rep was very rude and unreasonable and not understanding.  Still looking for clause in warranty to justify no coverage.....  Do not purchase engine from this company!!!
