A "college student" from Latvia came to our home selling home school books (North Charleston, SC).  She managed to get my wife to sign up for some program that could be cancelled without payment if done so by a certain date.  Wife spent hours on the phone and finally got through to cancel.  They billed us anyhow... twice on the same day for $107 each.  Wife will be going to the bank to file a report and get the charges reversed.

We went to our bank and reversed charges... cancelled bank card and got a new one issued.  The bank will handle the "fight" for us.  I have had to do this before and works great if you have all the documents needed (PROOF YOU CANCELLED, ETC, ETC).

i was approached by a college student at home as well.  selling this package...of which i bought pretty much everything available which was a mistake since my son has not been utilizing them much AT ALL.  i paid over 3k; im a single mother on RSDI (fixed income) so the fact that i cancelled this membership prior has raised concern that they may still be charging me.  also fyi as i have just re visited the site and recancelled my accout i am told in a pop up that my membership has been cancelled but i will continue to have access until 11/1/2012.  it is 11/7/2012 today!!  tell me how that makes any sense.  something smells very wrong about this company.  we will see if and how they respond to my detailed email.
