On Aug 9, 2010 I was visited at my home by a female door to door student sales person by the name of Paula Rapp who is currently attending University of West Georgia.  She showed me a collection of nice book that would help out the kids with school so I ordered a set of 5. I paid half up front then would pay the rest upon arrival sometime in September.  A week later my car broke down and it will cost me $500.00 to get it fixed the books are more then that so I wrote a letter to the company and told them I could no longer get the books due to the financial crisis that arose.  The customer service responded with "Unfortunately, since you have e-mailed outside of three business days, Southwestern as a company would not be able to cancel you order at this time. We are the wholesale company and your contract is with the dealer that sold you the product. We are bound under Federal Trade Commission policy that prohibits us from canceling an order outside three business days from the original order date, as stated on the contract. What you need to do in this situation is speak with the dealer when they come back by your house. They are the independent contractor who you placed your order with and you will need to seek a resolution with them at that point."  This upsets me but I figured I would talk to paula when she comes to the house to bring the books. I received a post card saying she would be by on Sept 12, 2010 to bring the books but I still have no way of contacting this girl to tell her I can no longer afford the books.  She comes by while I was at work, my room mate that thinks I needed these books for school pays for them then calls me after she left to let me know and wonders when I can pay him back.. Ok now I am pissed and still have no way of getting a hold of Paula.  So I write the company again they say "Since you have received the products and they have been paid in full, this is considered a completed sale and will not be able to be canceled. We will not be able to accept any return of products or issue any refund.

Now I don't want the books or anything this shady company has to offer I want mine and my roommates money back.  I had no way of getting in contact with this girl at all and the company wouldn't help me.
