Complaint Review: Spa World Corp - Joe Schwartz - Ira Schwartz - Tova Schwartz

I would like to file a complaint, my mother is a member of Costco, she wanted to purchase a 3053 walk in tub form Costco , she called the Access Tubs toll free # to ask a few questions about the product, she was unable to reach anyone and had left a voice message. a couple of hours later she recieved a phone call from a sales representative named Tina Marie Skijus who said she was with Walk In Tub Depot, My mother told her she wanted to purchase the 3053 on Costco.com she said they were the same comapny Access Tubs is Spa world Corp and Spa World Corp is walk in tub depot.com My mother asked how much the tub would cost  and where the tub was made and the sales girl Tina Marie Said that her cost for a water jetted tub would be $2695 delivered and that the tubs were made in texas and she could have it out on special in 4-7 days. My mother placed the order for the walk in tub and gave Tina Marie Skijus her cc info. 4 weeks later my mother had still not recieved the tub. She called Tina again and again with no reponse then another girl claiming to be from spa world called named Natalie she told my mother to call customer service at 972-923-1122 and ask for Ashley, so again my mother called and spoke to someone named Raoul who told her the order for the tub had not been placed, then she asked why not and he stated the tubs from Sean in china had not arrived yet! Then my mother contacted me and I did some research online and found out the tubs that Spa World Corp/ Meditub/Access Tubs/ Universal Tubs/ etc... it goes on and on, are selling are made in china and the owner Joe Schwartz has a very bad reputation for taking customers money and delivering defective tubs, I have spoken to many different members of the company who all apologize and make up some story, Tova Schwartz said she would refund my mother but they had to charge a 15% restocking fee so we went ahead and did a charge back. We never recieved a tub nor did we ever recieve an apology from these disgusting Monsters!

With further research I have found that they also sell tubs to Walmart.com as Elegant Tubs, Home Depot as UniversalTubs.com, Costco US & Canada as AccessTubs.com, CSNstores.com as symphonybaths.com, Improvementdirect.com as Splendid Bathing, ATGstores.com as Safespa, the list goes on and on they try to sell the same garbage under many different names.

My mother and I went a purchased a walk in tub direct from Safety Tubs The only name you can trust as far as walk in tubs, American made!!

I hope that people will listen to our story and think twice before buying a product from walk in tub depot, depotlot or any of the other names these monsters go by!
