When my Spacap started losing air and letting water into the chambers, I sent it to the company for evaluation since it was still under warranty. They claim that the pH level of my water allowed it to eat away at the cover and would not honor their warranty.

I have not used this tub enough and nobody who has used it has ever complained about itching or skin problems. I have also tested the water on a regular basis, so how did this pH problem suddenly appear? Whenever I did need to make a pH adjustment, it was a small amount and I have kept my written reports that will contradict their findings.

I have gone back and forth with emails with Jeff, the owner, and he gives me nothing but nonsense in reply.

I spent a significant amount of time on the web looking under spacap problems, for example, and the number of complaints about these covers is staggering! I thought it was just me when I couldn't get a return to my phone calls.

The other nonsense is R-Value. I am in upstate NY and it's not warm here in winter! My electric bill is a nightmare!
