When I looked up the Allegro Beach Resort online, on the homepage was a travel agency identified as SpaQuest. They had what appeared to be a pretty good deal. I paid them for 6 nights and 7 days at the all-inclusive, Allegro Beach Resort in Cozumel, Mexico. I received confirmation and a confirmation number showing that i had paid 1,175.04 in full. I proceeded to get my airline tickets. For four months, i gleefully anticipated my vacation. I am a school teacher and paid for the trip with a raise i received getting my national board certification.

My husband and I went to the airport on June9th and arrived at the hotel. The clerk had my name, but told me that my reservations had not been paid for. I was horrified. Thank God I had enough money on my other credit card to pay. The clerk attempted to contact SpaQuest, but lo and behold, the number had been disconnected. The website was no longer up and running either. I am working with Visa to get this disputed, but what should have been a celebration of a years work getting national boards turned into a nightmare!

My bank originally told me that my 60 days to dispute were up, but I didn't give up. They are working with me to get this resolved. Surely, I can't be the only person this disreputable "company" has swindled. Please inform others so they won't be victim to this also.
