Stopping off at Sierra College in Rocklin to transfer some units, my friend and I were stopped by three guys in a later model white toyota minivan. I listened to the pitch, and ya it was pretty much the same as the one everyone else got. The speakers looked impressive enough except I had never heard of the brand. That's when the punk showed me the "Crutchfield Magazine"(bull) that indeed had the speakers listed at the price on the box with a review. They said they were trying to get $500 in the parking lot in the next 30 minutes or they were just gonna hand them over to their boss (who he said just took the stuff home for himself). I got them down to $300 and somehow we scraped our money together to get that much. I figured it was a hell of a deal and we could give them to my parents and they'd pay my friend and i back. I feel like a complete sucker!! My friend and I are starving college students who are now out $150 each. Well, considering I've already commited one criminal act today, I'm going to search various places in a different vehicle to see if they show up again. Oh i forgot to mention one thing, my friend and I are football players for Modesto College and so are our other two roomates (one of which is a 6'4 280lb lineman) so if we catch them during one of our random evening cruises we'll be sure to kick the living s**t out of them! And if we go to jail and/or make the paper, I'll be sure to post that on here so you all can rest assured at least we made a small step at revenge. I'm off to kick some Con-artist a*s!!! LLLLAAAAAAAATTTTTTTEEEE
