Complaint Review: Spec Ops Service

We contacted Spec Ops Service to rent a 2010 b6 Armored Lincoln Navigator from them in October 2012. We were very excited to get the vehicle for some of our high profile clients. A driver from Spec Ops Service showed up with the Navigator and I was very disappointed. Two of the tires were totally bald. They advertised that the vehicle had electronic shocking door handles and a pepper spray dispensing system. The door handles didn't work and there was no pepper spray dispensing system. We popped the hood and things were literally falling apart and being held in place by duct tape. Sorry, it was electrical tape. I got in contact with Max Chip Bayless who is the CEO of Spec Ops Service to address these issues. At first he pretended to be on a detail in Mexico. Finally someone came to fix the tires. I had to pay out of my own pocket to get the door handles looked at before one of my client's could inspect the vehicle. I had a very important rental lined up and Max Chip Bayless called and said that he needed the vehicle for a quick rental out of state and that he would bring it back. He never brought the car back and left me and my client high and dry. I tried to contact them several times and got the run around. I needed to recover my radar detector and other items from the vehicle. After a few days a guy named Johnny called and told me that I wasn't getting the vehicle back and to "F*ck off". I was very dissappointed and I will never do business with Spec Ops Service again. As a special forces veteran myself I think someone needs to put these guys out of business before the ruin the reputation of former SF business owners. We must be held to a higher standard. Spec Ops Service is Clown Ops Service.
