Special Movers,Inc. I have a binding contract to move furniture and ended up with a higher bill, the company won't deliver my furniture until I pay the additional cost North Bergen New Jersey

I called Special Movers to move furniture, told Melody all the furniture I had, I called the furniture what it was, Melody called it something else, I told her no it's this she said ok we will call it this.

I have a binding contract for the cost to move the furniture to NC, plus packing material, I understand the packing material cost, it's high but the contract does say packing material is extra. The cost to move the furniture is $1,187.00 the packing material is $460.00.

Now Special Movers is telling me I owe $1,395.00 more because I have more furniture then I told them, I don't what I gave them is what I have they also told me I took up more square feet then I had told them, I told Michell I wanted to give Melody the measurments & she said I don't need the measurments unless it was custom made.

Called on 7/16/08, Michell went & took the inventory again & said the forman was wrong with the inventory also, Melody gave me the wrong information & was being re trained, I asked why I have to pay for the mistake, I was being honest & never did this before & was looking to Special Movers to help me.
Michell said she was sorry.

My brother-In -Law sent the check for the balance so we can get the furniture, it has been in the family for 50 years, Special Movers is holding my furniture hostage until we pay this balance.

Today July 27th, still don't have my furniture, I was told it left Friday night (July 18th) & would be in NC July 22nd, the 22nd came & went, still no furniture, was told it will be their (7/23 or 7/24) that the furniture left last night (7/22). Questioned why I was told it left the 18th then the 22nd, Michelle said Rose misunderstood.

I was promised Monday (7/27) & they would call 24 hours before delivery it is now 6:00 pm & I haven't heard a word.

Everytime I call one person will tell me one thing & another will tell me something else, their are a lot of "misunderstanding people" who work for this company
