I hired Special Ops Moving from a recommendation from Thumbtack.com. I requested a quote and agreed to the quote as follows:
2/3 1310 1/H 2-Bedrooms, Study, Living, Dining, Washer, Dryer, Freezer
1 Truck/s, 2 Workers, $80.00/hrs 5.0 hours
$400.00
Fuel & Mileage
$50.00
Total Moving Estimate
$450.00
Customer Payment:
$75.00

Our rates include only the USE of equipment and pads for protection, assembly/disassembly of furniture, stairs, elevators, long walks, and no box limit to move.

NO FURNITURE PADS WERE USED AS WAS IN THE AGREEMENT AND ADVERTISMENT AS SHOWN BELOW:
Residential/Commercial/Military and Storage services
Full packing services
We have the longest and largest trucks in the industry that ensures fewer trips and allows us to avoid stacking furniture on furniture
Shrink wrap, padded blankets, latest tools for the trade.

Here are a few things you need to know about us:
Our young men and woman are polite, hard working, disciplined and respectful. These are the people you can trust in your home and with your valuable property.

The two "young men" barely spoke English. Here are my additional issues:

1. No padding to cover furniture per disclosure agreement
2. Was told not to move broken TV but found on the truck, and when questioned they said that it was already on the truck and didn't make an effort to remove it.
3. Saran wrapped furniture to protect instead of using padding. Damaged the finish on my bedroom suite.
4. Furniture was just placed anywhere once they arrived at the new home
5. The side table left in the garage on top of the deep freezer
6. Bedroom headboard isn't secure. Very wobbly
7. Found the coffee table in a bedroom turned on its side instead of on all four legs. It's damage because of it.
8. Dining room table is scratched and is uneven.
9. Red accent table is damage in the corner.
10. Trunk damaged on both sides because they didn't bother to lay it on all fours.
Movers didn't care how they moved the furniture
