Special Ops Moving PM, 5 hours after the scheduled moving time, three movers showed up in a truck. They were rude and mishandled our belonging, banging dressers into walls, chucking bags like they were trash and carelessly shoving the furniture into the truck. Denver Colorado

My husband and I scheduled Special Ops Moving, August 26th 2016. I payed the $100 deposit and signed a contract, and was told the movers would come between 4:00PM and 5:00PM. Shortly after 5, no one had showed up yet so I contacted the number provided on my contract and an employee named Robert answered the call. He said he would look into it and call me right back. At 6:15PM, the movers from Special Ops Moving still hadn't shown up or contacted me and there was no word from Robert. I called back and after several missed calls, Robert finally answered saying that the movers were finishing up another job and would call me within 5-10 minutes to update me on their arrival time. 7:00PM and STILL no word from the crew. I called Robert again, who was now ignoring me and my husband's calls. He finally texted me from a different number and said he was on the phone with the crew right then. So we waited to hear what they had to say and NOTHING.

At 8:00PM, I received a call from the Owner of Special Ops Moving, Mike, who said he had talk to Robert and wanted to get my side of the story and see what was going on. I told him exactly what happened. He asked me if I still expected them to move me since it was so late and I told him absolutely, that we had been waiting 4 hours, had no bed to sleep in and everything was packed up and waiting for them. At 9 o'clock PM, 5 hours after the scheduled moving time, three movers showed up in a truck. They were rude and mishandled our belonging, banging dressers into walls, chucking bags like they were trash and carelessly shoving the furniture into the truck. When the truck was loaded at 11:45 my husband and I left for the new house and we waited for them. At 12:30AM they still hadn't arrived, so I had to call several times to find out where they were. They had stopped to get food while we waited, exhausted and anxious for them to arrive. One of the movers asked my husband for an iPhone charger to charge his phone while they unloaded, and he let it charged in the kitchen.

Meanwhile, countertops were cracked, floors were scratched and walls were scrapped as they again carelessly moved the furniture into our new home. They finished at 1:30AM. I signed the contract and handed over my credit card information in tears, I just wanted them to leave! When they finally left, trash and cigarette butts littered the driveway and the place was a disaster, not to mention the phone charger my husband had let them borrow was now gone.

When I complained to Mike, the owner of Special Ops Moving, the next morning about my immense frustration and disappointment, he would do nothing to make it right. He claimed he had preformed great customer service for finding me a crew to move us so late. I asked for a partial refund and he refused any sort of compensation for the emotional stress, physical damage to our belongings or the mess the movers left behind. This has been the most horrific customer service experience my husband and I have ever had! Never in my life have I dealt with such an unprofessional, disrespectful and unreliable company. My husband and I are truly horrified by what took place and hope that no one ever has to go through what we did with Special Ops Moving.
