I just discovered of the process how they scam unsuspecting vacationeers into a paying for a "vacation" fraud. I was quite suspicious of them when they send me the glossy brochures... of a special deal for 4 nights/5 days in Orlando/Daytona and 3 day Bahamas cruise. Its way too cheap and too good to be true!! and I was right!

I contacted them to reserve for me an accommodation for Spring break (March 2005). They send confirmation that I have reservations at Oak Plantation but there's an upgrade fee of $69 to stay at Oak Plantation and take the timeshare tour. Ok it's fine.. I can handle a timeshare tour. But when I called Oak Plantation, I was told today I do not have a reservation at Oak Plantation! Yet the d**n Special-T-Travel already wanted to collect the fee for $276!

They are committing fraud for collecting charges from customers for a supposedly Timeshare Resort upgrade accommodation. They make promises, but for all you know they will actually plan to just throw your family into a crappy hotel when you arrive in Orlando -- and surprise you at the last minute... shame on them!!

HMG (and Special T Travel) have already ripped me off my $498 for the fake vacation package I paid last year, and when I tried to get refunded or cancelled they led me to believe that I cannot get a refund so have to "use" the "pre-paid package"!!

I had sent letters to the Orange County Consumer Fraud Unit so they are aware of how Special T Travel rip off consumers all over.

I am warning you all to be aware of their scam to commit fraud that targets vacationers and prospective timeshare audience.

Lesson learned: Never again buy a "future" dated vacation package through an agency with a "timeshare" marketing hype attached to it. Make your vacation reservations directly yourself and call at the hotel where you want to stay.

God knows how many people Special T Travel had already scammed into this.
