I requested information from SMC, and received a box of catalogs along with some business opportunity outlines two years ago. After reading their information and browsing their merchandise catalogs, I decided that this home based business opportunity was less than something that I wanted to be involved in. Upon that decision, I phoned SMC to say "no thank you" and they immediately forwarded my call to a "business coach". I told this person that I did not need her help since I was not interested, and she began to put the sales pressure on and did not accept my kind "no thank you", so I hung up the phone.

A few days later I had a message on my voicemail from a SMC "business coach", a male this time, who proceeded to tell me that I needed to contact him to get started on setting up my new business. I did not return his call, and I received several such calls over the next month.
Now, two years later, I am receiving threatening collection letters from CPS Security in the amount of $497.32, without any explanation of what services or goods this bill pertains to.

I have made several calls to CPS' toll free number to inquire about this notice, but when I inform the representive that I am disputing the bill, he hangs up on me. The last time I called, the same male voice told me in a loud, threating manner to stop calling, then hung up abruptly.
