Yesterday, Feb. 10, 2005 i recieved a phone call at my job from Spectra Financial Benefits. They told be i was approved for a Master Card with a $2000.00 credit limit, 0% APR for 3 years, and 4.9% APR for life after 3 years. They asked for ALL of my personal information... SS #, License#, and Banking information. Offcourse my ignorant self went and gave them my identity on a silver platter. Later that night i mentioned the offer to my girlfriend. Thank god for her i came to my senses and became suspicious.

So today i decided to investigate abaout this so called Spectra. First I called their costumer service line. Not only did it sound very cheesy, the automated voice told me to hold that all all service operators were helping other costumers. Then after 5 minutes it would tell me that there was no one available, to please leave a message. I got even more suspicios. So i went on the internet "GOOGLE" and typed Spectra. And here is where it lead me.

Thanks to 2 very recent reports I realized the type of company a had just gotten myself involved with.

I honestly don't know what is going to happen with my money or my identity, but I am going to keep investigating, and try to encourage whoever finds themselve in this situation, to please report it, thanks for your attention...
